camping Pre-visit information

Thank you for booking the Knepp Wildland Campsite

Check-in is any time after 3pm and check-out by 10am.

One of us will probably be in the Go-Down when you arrive but if we’re elsewhere, just follow this map to your accommodation and make yourselves at home.

We provide large wheelbarrows to help you transport your belongings to the campsite.

Please bring a torch and take care around steps as the campsite is not lit at night.

Feel free to contact us after you’ve settled in if there’s anything we can help with.

We are looking forward to hosting you!

Our 12+ Policy

Knepp Wildland Safaris, our gardens and campsite are all about the quiet and patient observation of nature.

Some of the species we are likely to encounter are shy or can be frightened by loud noises or sudden movements. Our campsite with open-air fire-pits, wood-burning stoves and an on-site pond is unsuitable for small children.

For this reason, our safaris, garden visits, holiday cottages and campsite are suitable only for children of 12 and over.
