Build your team spirit in the heart of Knepp’s rewilding project.
Bring your team to Knepp to connect with nature and learn to think holistically and outside the box – like a rewilder.
On a Team Day at Knepp you’ll learn about the extraordinary wildlife successes of Knepp, one of Britain’s most daring nature restoration experiments.
You’ll learn how letting nature take the driving seat, allowing boom and bust scenarios to play out, rather than trying to prevent them, has fostered an ecosystem that is dynamic and resilient; how nature is endlessly seeking to connect and adapt; how the ground beneath our feet, quite literally, sustains us.
In the expert hands of Knepp’s ecologists, you’ll head out on a rewilding safari in search of free-roaming herds of longhorn cattle, Exmoor ponies, Tamworth pigs and red and fallow deer, the drivers of our rebounding ecosystem. You’ll visit wildlife ‘refugia’ to look for reptiles and amphibians, looking out for stoats, weasels, red kites, buzzards, dung beetles and butterflies on the way. Above you, white storks wheel around the sky or bill-clatter on their nests – the first to breed in Britain for 600 years.
Then enjoy a delicious No-Plough lunch from Knepp’s new Wilding Kitchen, showcasing Knepp’s Wild Range meat, and organic, seasonal salads and vegetables from Knepp’s Market Garden.
After lunch the venue is available for your team’s use until the end of the day. We’re hoping you’ll be feeling so inspired and energised that team strategy talks will be a doddle! On a sunny day, you may wish to venture back into the rewilding project or enjoy a dip in our wild swimming lake.
