Set in the heart of the UK’s pioneering rewilding project, Knepp Wilding Kitchen is a hub of community, nature and food. Our land-to-plate menu is shaped by the seasons and inspired by Knepp’s rewilding ethos.
Our Food
We celebrate the best of seasonal ingredients, from Wild Range meat grown on Knepp, organic produce from our on-site regenerative Market Garden and sustainable fish caught by day-boat on the British coast.
Our menu evolves with what’s available. Simple, unfussy food that lets good ingredients shine.

Our restaurant is open for lunch seven days a week. Our menu is designed daily by our head chef, Alex Dome, whose approach to cooking is letting high-quality, homegrown ingredients speak for themselves.

Friday Night Barbecues
Friday Night BBQs return to Knepp Wilding Kitchen this summer from 1 May. Enjoy a relaxed evening of live music, seasonal food cooked over charcoal, and the easy atmosphere of the courtyard as the day draws to a close.
Coffee & Cake
We serve organic coffee, tea, cakes, cookies, and a small selection of sandwiches from our Airstream Café daily during the summer and at weekends in the winter (whenever the weather allows).
For those who prefer to sit inside, coffee, tea, cakes and fresh pastries are served in the Wilding Kitchen restaurant daily from 9am-11am and 3pm-4pm.

Our beautiful venue provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable celebration. Our private dining room can fit up to 15 guests, creating an intimate and exclusive atmosphere for your special occasions.

Sunday Roasts
Throughout winter until 5th April, our Sunday roasts feature centrepieces from Knepp’s sustainable butchery and fresh, organic produce from our market garden. Served in our cozy barn, they offer a seasonal, hearty meal to enjoy with friends and family.
