The Turtle Dove is the fastest declining bird in the UK with a tragic loss of 98% in only 48 years. One of Kneppā€™s biggest success stories has been the return of the Turtle Dove, with 20 singing males recorded at Knepp in 2021, compared with only 3 in 1999. This swimming towel celebrates this back-from-the-brink success and urges the Turtle Dove to continue making its wonderful ā€œTurrā€ sound.

Made from 100% quality cotton, this generously sized towel features a reverse image on the back.

Knepp Wildland Safaris, our gardens and campsite are all about the quiet and patient observation of nature.

Some of the species we are likely to encounter are shy or can be frightened by loud noises or sudden movements. Our campsite with open-air fire-pits, wood-burning stoves and an on-site pond is unsuitable for small children.

For this reason, our safaris, garden visits, holiday cottages and campsite are suitable only for children of 12 and over.
