Welcome to Knepp Wilding Shop!
Open daily 9am-5pm.
Our shop, at the entrance to the Wilding Kitchen courtyard, is a sustainable produce and lifestyle store. You’ll find hundreds of beautiful gifts and useful products inspired by nature, as well as organic produce grown regeneratively in our onsite market garden and Wild Range meat from our rewilding project.
Sustainability
We’re committed to being as sustainable and ethical as possible. Though we’re by no means perfect, we try to:
- Be rigorous in procurement
Buy recycled & recyclable, Fairtrade, organic, sustainable & ecological wherever we can
- Trade with those who get it
Choose suppliers who understand there is no Planet B. Support co-ops, employee-owned companies, certified B-corps, charities, small business & social enterprises
- Reduce waste
Order with reduced packaging, return what we can to the supplier, compost what we can at Knepp. Use any unsold fresh produce in our Kitchen
- Question everything
Be wise to greenwashing and ask for details
- Avoid unnecessary journeys
Source locally where we can, and when sourcing from further afield make sure it gets to us with as little impact as possible. We never air-freight.
- Go grassroots
Collaborate and work locally with people we know and trust, creating alliances with like-minded businesses and organisations in our community
