Knepp Deer Leather Credit Card Holder

Knepp is proud to collaborate with Billy tannery on our range of beautifully crafted hand made, durable leather goods made from the hides of free roaming deer from our rewilding project.

The leather is bark tanned without harmful chemicals in Billy Tannery’s small batch tannery in Leicestershire. This collaboration closes the loop in our careful deer management, giving new purpose to a material that would otherwise go to waste. Each piece is made entirely in the UK, supporting skilled jobs in rural communities and celebrating a shared ethos of regeneration and sustainability.

Durable, useful and designed to last, these products connect us back to the land and the living system that made them possible.

Each piece is individually made and finished, expect variations in grain, pattern and tone, showcasing marks & scars from the wild.

Our Animals Drive Biodiversity

By grazing, browsing, rooting and trampling, the free-roaming animals at Knepp create a dynamic mosaic of habitats – from open grassland to scrub and woodland – supporting a rich web of life. Their presence is driving the return of rare species like nightingales, turtle doves, and purple emperor butterflies.
