Peregrine Treehouse
The Peregrine Treehouse, with views of the rewilding project, is situated on the edge of ancient woodland which is a carpet of bluebells in spring, and full of birdsong.
The interior is furnished with antique and upcycled furniture, colourful rugs and a comfy armchair.
The treehouse has a king-sized bed (5ft wide x 6.6ft long) with luxury natural fibre mattress, feather duvet, four down pillows, pure Egyptian cotton bed-linen, and colourful wool blankets. Towels are provided and we can provide hypoallergenic bedding on request.
The Peregrine Treehouse boasts the additional feature of an open-air, wood-fired Swedish Hikki bath-tub on a separate platform reached by a wooden walkway.
The wood-burning stove, which will keep you toasty even in the colder months, has a stove-top kettle and coffee-maker. We supply a starter box of kindling, eco-firelighters and sustainably sourced wood; further supplies are available from our campsite shop.
All of our accommodation is off-grid. Lighting is provided by a battery hurricane lamp, two bedside reading lights, and a candle lantern.
Downstairs, the treehouse has its own upcycled fire-pit and barbeque grill, with two hardwood chairs.
