Information
For a more immersive experience, join one of the Gardens Team on a workshop beginning with a presentation on the design, construction, and planting of our garden experiment. After tea and coffee, you’ll head out to explore the garden first-hand, with plenty of time for questions and brainstorming. Learn about how we’ve been thinking outside the box to create habitats and replicate natural processes; how we choose and source our plants, native and non-native, to build a mosaic of plant communities; how we think about the soil and other planting mediums, as well as sustainability and climate change.
PLEASE NOTE: The garden visits take place next to Knepp Castle in the Middle Block of the rewilding project – a different place to all other safaris. Please do not go to the campsite/safari car park, but follow the directions to the Walled Garden on your pre-visit email.
