Information

This is a general overview of the garden for those who haven’t visited before. Join one of our guides for a short video presentation over tea and coffee, before heading out to see the Walled Garden transformation. Learn about the vision and practicalities of the project, and how it could relate to your space – be it a garden, backyard, or window box.

PLEASE NOTE: The garden visits take place next to Knepp Castle in the Middle Block of the rewilding project – a different place to all other safaris. Please do not go to the campsite/safari car park, but follow the directions to the Walled Garden on your pre-visit email.

Our 12+ Policy

Knepp Wildland Safaris and campsite are all about the quiet and patient observation of nature.

Some of the species we are likely to encounter are shy or can be frightened by loud noises or sudden movements. Our campsite with open-air fire-pits, wood-burning stoves and an on-site pond is unsuitable for small children.

For this reason, our safaris, holiday cottages and campsite are suitable only for children of 12 and over.
