Rachel Greaves

Visitor Manager

Rachel is our Visitor Manager; she looks after our campsite and safari guests and oversees the shop and café. Rachel graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Biology, followed by a MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation from the University of Leeds. She also studied Countryside Management at Plumpton College.

Rachel is passionate about nature and wildlife. Her previous job was as Assistant Reserves Officer with Sussex Wildlife Trust, helping to look after local nature sites across the county. In her spare time, Rachel loves looking for wildlife on foot and horseback, pub quizzes and playing board games.

‘The campsite and safaris are a wonderful way of sharing what we’re doing here. It’s a great place to unwind and soak up the atmosphere of the wildlife all around you. I love walking around the campsite at night hearing the buzz of conversation around campfires underneath a star filled sky.’

Our 12+ Policy

Knepp Wildland Safaris and campsite are all about the quiet and patient observation of nature.

Some of the species we are likely to encounter are shy or can be frightened by loud noises or sudden movements. Our campsite with open-air fire-pits, wood-burning stoves and an on-site pond is unsuitable for small children.

For this reason, our safaris, holiday cottages and campsite are suitable only for children of 12 and over.
