Bonnie Metherell

Partnerships Lead

Bonnie is Partnerships Lead for the Knepp Wildland Foundation, responsible for developing and delivering a partnership and fundraising strategy to help grow the foundation. She is passionate about communicating the impact of Knepp’s rewilding success and working in partnership to support nature recovery at scale.

Bonnie has a background in international fieldwork and research, gaining her PhD in zoology at the University of Cambridge, and over 12 years’ experience of fundraising  and partnership working in the conservation sector.

Outside of her role with the Foundation she enjoys getting outdoors with her young family and being creative with wheel-thrown pottery.

“I’m incredibly excited about helping to shape and grow the Foundation, both within Sussex and beyond. Knepp is such a beacon of inspiration and hope for nature recovery and I feel hugely privileged to be part of the team that is helping to evidence this impact and support rewilding at scale.”

Our 12+ Policy

Knepp Wildland Safaris and campsite are all about the quiet and patient observation of nature.

Some of the species we are likely to encounter are shy or can be frightened by loud noises or sudden movements. Our campsite with open-air fire-pits, wood-burning stoves and an on-site pond is unsuitable for small children.

For this reason, our safaris, holiday cottages and campsite are suitable only for children of 12 and over.
