Beaver Training WORKSHOP Pre-Visit Information
Time: 9.30am-4pm
What’s provided: Tea, coffee and elderflower cordial on arrival and lunch in the Granary. Please let us know of any allergies and if you’re vegetarian/vegan in advance and we’ll do our best to cater for you.
What to bring: Wellies are essential for the afternoon as we may be wading through shallow water. Also bring suitable clothing for the conditions. You will also need binoculars, notebook and pen.
What to wear: We will be out in the wildland so please be prepared for the British weather! The beaver pen is prone to flooding so wellingtons are essential! If it’s raining please bring waterproof jacket and trousers, and hat etc.
Where to meet: The Granary, Knepp Safaris, New Barn Farm, Swallows Lane, Dial Post, West Sussex, RH13 8NN. Down a long track, which is accessed via Swallows Lane, just next to the village of Dial Post.

Location for the afternoon visit to Beaver Pen: Brookhouse Farm, Shipley, RH13 8PY (the postcode is for this area of Shipley). We will drive round together in our own cars, but the entrance to the track is in on the left and has a sign. (Parking area What3words is health.homework.thunder).
Please think carefully about what you bring with you and keep your valuables with you at all times.
We are in a remote and relatively crime-free area but we can’t take responsibility for valuables on site, including vehicles and their contents in the Car Park.
