Home / Author supper with Chantal Lyons
We’re hugely excited to welcome debut author Chantal Lyons at the Wilding Kitchen & Shop to celebrate the launch of her brilliant new book Groundbreakers.
The book explores a hot topic and we expect a fascinating and lively evening.
Groundbreakers looks at the role of wild boar in Britain, how they’re returning (including in Sussex), why we need them, and the challenges involved in living with this native species in our countryside again.
Having wild boar at Knepp has always been one of our dreams and Charlie Burrell, who will be introducing Chantal, is immensely looking forward to drawing on her expertise. There’ll be plenty of time for Q&A from the audience, too.
The evening begins with a book signing and drinks at 6pm. At 7pm, settle in for the author talk, followed by a 15-min Q&A. Wind up the evening with a delicious two-course supper and lots of food for thought.
Don’t miss this exciting event on Friday 19 April for just £55.
Knepp Wildland Safaris, our gardens and campsite are all about the quiet and patient observation of nature.
Some of the species we are likely to encounter are shy or can be frightened by loud noises or sudden movements. Our campsite with open-air fire-pits, wood-burning stoves and an on-site pond is unsuitable for small children.
For this reason, our safaris, garden visits, holiday cottages and campsite are suitable only for children of 12 and over.
