This beautiful mug was made in the UK . The beaver is a keystone species and one of nature’s most awesome ecological engineers. Through the building of dams, the digging of canals, and the creation of dead wood, beavers create and maintain habitats where an abundance and diversity of life can flourish. Hunted to near extinction, reintroductions of this incredible species has been taking place across Europe. In 2022 we introduced “Banksy” and “Brooke”, our resident beavers ,to Knepp and we are thrilled that earlier this year, they gave birth to two kits, the first beavers to be born in Sussex for over 500 years.
