Kim Wakefield

Campsite Shop & Reception

After a long career in book publishing, Kim moved to West Sussex and discovered Knepp as a wonderful place to come and walk, and immerse herself in nature. Kim loves animals and is passionate about how we can all do our bit to protect the environment. Kim also enjoys live music and dabbles in growing her own fruit and veg.

I jumped at the chance to become part of the team, and really enjoy the interaction with our campsite guests and visitors.

Our 12+ Policy

Knepp Wildland Safaris, our gardens and campsite are all about the quiet and patient observation of nature.

Some of the species we are likely to encounter are shy or can be frightened by loud noises or sudden movements. Our campsite with open-air fire-pits, wood-burning stoves and an on-site pond is unsuitable for small children.

For this reason, our safaris, garden visits, holiday cottages and campsite are suitable only for children of 12 and over.
