Campsite Shop & Reception

Kate fell in love with Knepp after her first visit on a walk in December 2023. She read the book, watched the film (multiple times) and applied for a Front of House position at Knepp Wilding Kitchen, where she has now worked for a year. Kate is a self-confessed ‘Knepp Top Fan’ and is now expanding her repertoire to work in the campsite shop and reception.

I genuinely feel I have found a little pocket of happiness here at Knepp.  All the staff are upbeat and enthusiastic, and every day I meet equally lovely visitors.  We are surrounded by an abundance of wildlife in this truly forward-thinking project.  What’s not to love?!

Our 12+ Policy

Knepp Wildland Safaris, our gardens and campsite are all about the quiet and patient observation of nature.

Some of the species we are likely to encounter are shy or can be frightened by loud noises or sudden movements. Our campsite with open-air fire-pits, wood-burning stoves and an on-site pond is unsuitable for small children.

For this reason, our safaris, garden visits, holiday cottages and campsite are suitable only for children of 12 and over.
