MOLLY BIDDELL
Head of Natural Capital
Molly is Head of Natural Capital at Knepp Estate. She focuses on leveraging nature markets for Knepp, and the River Adur Landscape Recovery Project. She also works part-time at a family-run regenerative farming business, facilitates the Upper Adur Farming Cluster group and is a columnist for Farmers Weekly.
MATT PHELPS
Lead Ecologist
Lead Ecologist – Matt is an avid birder and all-round naturalist. He studied countryside management and ecology at agricultural college and has worked for the National Trust, Sussex Wildlife Trust and various private estates, managing landscapes for wildlife, enthusing others about the natural world and advocating for rewilding and the return of lost and declining species.
FLEUR DOBNER
Ecologist
Ecologist – Fleur is an enthusiastic naturalist with a particular interest in birds, botany, and rewilding principles. She studied her MSc in Conservation Science & Policy at the University of Exeter and has previously worked in practical habitat management roles for the RSPB and National Trust, as well as ecological consultancy.
FPCR have provided external ecological expertise in the planning and creation of the Knepp Habitat Bank.
The Lifescape Project is the Responsible Body for the Knepp Habitat Bank.
