Wild Sign Painting Workshop
Ever felt the need to signal to neighbours that your unmown lawn is not neglect but important habitat? Or point out a wildflower verge or patch of wild orchids that need protecting from the mower?
Award-winning botanical artist Nessie Ramm has come up with a wonderful way of making signs for gardens and green spaces that are in tune with their surroundings – beautiful and inspiring. Join her for a wild sign workshop and take away a wonderful piece of useful art for your own green space. Using enamel paint on aluminium, Nessie will show you how to create a robust, weatherproof sign that suits your purpose. You’ll be able to take inspiration from the flowers and wildlife in Knepp’s stunning Rewilded Walled Garden. While you work, learn from Nessie how to make your own mini-meadow from her passion for roadside verges.
You will have the opportunity to explore the rewilded walled garden after your workshop for up to an hour.
