Rewild your Child – Ages 7-11
Rewild your Child
10am-3pm Friday 31 July 2026
Please bring packed lunch and water bottle. Parents will drop off for the day, rather than staying for the session.
Take your child’s rewilding adventures to the next level with Zoologist Ryan Greaves in this full-day immersive experience. Designed for older children who have already attended one of our regular two hour Rewild Your Child sessions.
You will spend the morning exploring our pioneering rewilding project, searching for iconic wildlife, including the wonderful White Storks and spectacular array of Butterflies, encountering the free-roaming grazing animals, and looking for signs of the resident Beavers, as you discover how natural processes are transforming the landscape.
In the afternoon, you will head into our beautiful ancient woodland to further develop your bushcraft skills and understanding of the project. You will start by lighting the campfire, use woodland tools safely to create amazing artefacts, look at animal bones and feathers and learn how rewilding can inspire us to create habitats that support nature recovery.
Meet at the entrance to the Knepp Wilding Shop, Worthing Road, Dial Post, RH13 8NQ. If you have any questions about this event, please contact wildingkitchenevents@knepp.co.uk.
