The Gathering
Our beautiful newly renovated Barn, right next to the Wilding Kitchen makes a wonderful meeting space.
Nestled in a peaceful, inspiring setting near the Wilding Kitchen, our barn is the perfect space for workshops, writing retreats, exhibitions, informal meetings, and creative gatherings. With its open, flexible layout and rustic charm, it provides a calm, focused environment where ideas can flourish.
You are welcome to make use of the projector and TV screen, wood-burning stove and tea and coffee facilities.
For all bookings, we offer our delicious grazing platter menu, available exclusively as part of your Gathering hire. Please note we do not permit self-catering.
The barn is available for full-day hire only, providing a dedicated space for your event. The space can accommodate groups of 20 seated at our conference table with lunch, or up to 40 people theatre-style with a buffet lunch.
Hire Information
Available Monday – SaturdayÂ
Full day hire (9am – 4pm): £300
Extra time – £50 per additional hourÂ
WiFi and audiovisual equipment available.
Arrival brownies with unlimited tea & coffee – £6.50 per person   Â
Please see our food upgrade via the booking link as a special add-on to your day.
Specialty coffees are available but not included in the package offerings.
Terms and Conditions for Venue Hire
1. Ticketed Events
Customers wishing to host a ticketed event at the barn must first obtain written agreement from us.
Any bookings made without prior written approval may be cancelled at our discretion.
2. Use of Brand
The Knepp name, brand, or imagery may not be used in the promotion, marketing, or delivery of any event without our prior written consent.
3. Event Restrictions
Events must not conflict with the Knepp brand, values, or ethos.
Events must not create direct competition with Knepp enterprises or entities.
4. General Conditions
We reserve the right to decline or cancel bookings that do not meet the above requirements.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their event complies with all relevant laws, licenses, and permissions.
