This workshop is specifically for landowners, estate managers and farmers who manage 200 acres or more. Managers of smaller areas may be interested in our Rewilding Smaller-Scale Workshop.
The day will begin with a 45-minute presentation on Knepp Wildland detailing the underlying principles of rewilding and how the project at Knepp works. This will be followed by a two-hour walking safari, a chance to encounter Knepp’s herds of free-roaming animals and to discuss how they are managed.
Back at the Cow Barn you will be treated to a delicious lunch featuring Knepp produce.
After lunch, the afternoon session includes a financial presentation by Knepp’s land agent. Knepp’s rewilding consultant, will then expand on Knepp’s approach to natural capital, ecosystem services and other potential opportunities for rewilding.
Rewilding Large-Scale Workshops are scheduled for 28 May and 28 June.
You’ll need a good level of fitness and be able to cope with walking on uneven ground.Â
