Autumn Safari Pre-visit information
Time: Start times vary between 2.15pm and 4.00pm.
What’s provided: Venison charcuterie and a tot of homemade sloe gin – please let us know of any allergies, or if you’re vegetarian/vegan, in advance so we can cater for you.
What to bring: Camera (note – flash is not allowed as it startles the animals, and it will be too dark to photograph in the woods). Do remember to bring a torch. No dogs please.
What to wear: Please be prepared for the British autumn weather! The ground is uneven so wear sturdy waterproof hiking boots and, in wet weather or following wet days, wellies are a must as our paths can be submerged by water in places. We recommend a warm fleece, waterproof jacket and trousers, hat, gloves etc. Please do not wear bright or white clothing.
Where to meet: The Cow Barn, Knepp Safaris, New Barn Farm, Swallows Lane, Dial Post, West Sussex, RH13 8NN. Down a long track, which is accessed via Swallows Lane, just next to the village of Dial Post.
