NEW Winter Menu, Seven Days a Week

Author supper with Kate Bradbury
6:30pm-9:30pm on Thursday 20 June
Price £55

Kate Bradbury is an award-winning garden writer, broadcaster and TV presenter based in Hove, specialising in wildlife gardening. We’re lucky enough to have her leading several of our garden tours in Knepp’s rewilded Walled Garden, and the feedback is rapturous!

Her latest book, launched on 6 June, One Garden Against the World is a beautiful, uplifting story chronicling the joys and challenges of nurturing biodiversity in urban spaces. Despite the beauty of her own garden oasis, Bradbury grapples with climate change anxiety and the urgent need for collective action to address habitat loss and rising temperatures. Part call to arms, part intimate nature diary interwoven with personal anecdotes about her family, relationships and beloved rescue dog, this is a book with the power to galvanise and inspire.

In conversation with Isabella Tree, Kate will give us ideas about what we can all do, no matter how small our space, to encourage wildlife and make a positive impact on the planet.

There will be plenty of time for questions and a chance to buy signed copies of Kate’s books. And, of course, a welcome glass of sparkling on arrival, followed by a delicious three-course rewilded dinner over which to continue the conversation with friends old and new.

Our 12+ Policy

Knepp Wildland Safaris, our gardens and campsite are all about the quiet and patient observation of nature.

Some of the species we are likely to encounter are shy or can be frightened by loud noises or sudden movements. Our campsite with open-air fire-pits, wood-burning stoves and an on-site pond is unsuitable for small children.

For this reason, our safaris, garden visits, holiday cottages and campsite are suitable only for children of 12 and over.
